Get to know

Kailani grew up as a military brat traveling the world. Multicultural and multiracial, she is rooted to nowhere and everywhere at once. Beginning her music journey in college, she is keen to embark on this new adventure.

As a songwriter and actor, Kailani is pioneering dual arts majors at NYU (Tisch Acting and Steinhardt Music Composition). Her current body of work consists of six short film soundtracks, a collaborative score for Carnegie Mellon’s 2025 live festival circuit, an experimental Italian clown show, and some extra work on film sets (no, nothing you’d have seen).

When she isn’t working or studying, Kailani likes to draw, experiment with coffee, and work out. Anytime she can spend outdoors, she will.
